The black one is old version with only 1GB/4GB, not much space left as os takes up lot of space.

The white one is newer but with fan built-in, fan will give you problem later. It cannot play 3d movies too

If you want only tv box from xiaomi, get the latest us version, comes with android tv os and playstore.

It is very easy to find apps to watch english drama.

Apps such as hdcinema, moviehd, newestmoivehd, megabox, cartoonhd give you latest english movies and drama in 720p/1080p quality.

use china app only for chinese movie/drama

If the user is a lazy noob, then I would suggest that he or she can skip to other boxes.

If the user is willing to take up the challenge with some heartache along the way, enjoy the joy ride.

The present 1 GB ram and 8 GB memory without SD card slot black box will run out of space very fast.

lag a lot because you are using the wrong apps.

if you buy another "better" box, it will be lagging too, if you are going to run the same app.

it is a good box IF you know how to use it.

xiaomi is not the cheapest. xiaomi box's hardware is top-notch

there are boxes at $30 or less.
