You want to sign in to Mi Cloud also need sms leh. And I tried to change email address. Also need to send sms. When I click on change recovery phone number to my mum's number. They need to send verification code to my mum's number and it was sent immediately. For my number, I waited and waited. Nothing. Kept resending until I exceeded the amount of times. Previously I was with M1 with the same number. No issue at all. Then I port to Giga. Can't receive verification sms. I unlocked the bootloader on my CC9 Pro Premium and Mi 10 Ultra without any issues at all. CC9 Pro Premium was unlocked immediately and the Mi 10 Ultra was only 72 hours...

I suspect is the porting of number that is causing the delay.
Change the sim info and try? Not sure if can help.

Hoot ah! Mai tu liao. Even before I own the Mi 11 Ultra, I am on the thread daily. And then I look at my latest fruit phone and tell myself. What I need is a sexy beast not a fruit. So it's bye bye fruit. On a serious note, you guys make this thead a damn awesome place to be. That's one of the main reasons why I decided to get the Mi 11 Ultra...

If Mi11u not launch here, will it launch "pro" version or just the vanilla mi11?
Cause feel like buying mi11 pro from those flashed ROM by carousel but not sure will the future update can be use?

Depend on what rom they flash. If global rom can just ota update. If xiaomi.eu rom have to update via custom recovery.

Pro version no global rom. Only CN rom. So seller say got google play store means only open up and install play store from xiaomi getapps which u can do yourself also.
The only way to get other languages support and feel like global rom is xiaomi eu rom. But if u can tahan cn rom actually it works just fine just many bloat ware and notification have to manually enable one by one and most of the time still have to search solutions online.

Mi 11 and Mi 11 Ultra got global set. The model number ends with a "G"

Mi 11 Pro no have global set. The model ends with a "C" means is China set. And Mi 11 Pro solely for China only so it is not possible to have global set.

Yeap found those pro/ultra are using the same ROM, but can I use stock recovery ROM without unlock the bootloader to flash global ROM or I confirm need trwp to flash it?

Normally I unlock bootloader if I wanna root but in this case I just wanna to use global ROM from the official only.

Now xiaomi phone all region lock. To have global rom on mi 11 pro have to unlock bootloader else will brick the set. Since unlock might as well load it with xiaomi eu rom. It just works fine as long as don't root it.

Ditto. Just flash xiaomi.eu rom... Some say global will break safetynet so i dont bother trying. And china theme store is way better than global theme store

But I like the China camera leh. Got additional mode that can shoot fun pictures. Xiaomi eu rom taken it out liao.
