Just updated to the latest EU Rom on Wed and improved batt life significantly. Previously the batt life was quite bad. Now it's alot better.

After my wife took my mi11 ultra, I'm hesitating to buy another set for myself as I don't about mi11 ultra is not able to stop Whatsapp or any messaging apps photos for going into the phone storage otherwise it will be perfect.

Hi resident experts, i have lurked around a long time can't contribute cos i don't know enough to contribute but you are all so knowledgeable. Here is my problem, I have a NFC enabled sim card with my EZ Link card on the sim, I tried to use it on the 11 Ultra but it keeps on going to Google Pay and hangs there, would any of you know a fix for this, phone was bought recently running stock chinese rom i just installed Google Play and a few google apps is all

Oh I found the setting to disable it in WhatsApp under setting then chat and disable new media to appear in photo albums.

Maybe go to your NFC or wallet setting change the default parent method. I change to hce and all my Google pay,simplygo,paywave all working without issue.

I think in your case you have to disable your phone NFC before using SIM card NFC. It's interfering each other's function and usually the phone NFC takes precedence as the tag is bigger than sim card NFC.

What's the temperature of you peeps 11 ultra after charging and at standby?

Never measure the temp but it is rather warm but after recent updates, gotten cooler. I'm on EU Rom BTW.

One question, do you guys charge your Mi 11/Mi 11 Ultra battery to 100%? I hardly charge my phone's battery to 100% to give it a longer lifespan but yesterday I charged it to 100% after updating to the latest EU stable ROM by accident. Placed my phone on the xiaomi wireless charger and within 15 mins it was fully charged from 49%. But I have to say at 100% with the new EU stable ROM. The battery lasted a long time...

+1. Actually I wanted to know more about what others feel about the lifespan of the battery too. I'm not using this phone but have tried posting in other thread. Can understand why you wanted it to last longer since this is flagship phone.

Just charge whenever u need more juice. A phone only last u max 2 yrs then u going to change a new one liao. If u want to have a phone to last u 3-4 yrs then most likely u don't need a smart phone. U just need Nokia 3310.
