888 is not power efficient, performance is top notch but it generates too much heat. device is noticeably hotter compared to 865 and Kirin devices
However I love the form factor and display. It's comfortable to hold and enjoyable to look at. So wasted

Able to turn on VOLTE?

maybe it is xiaomi's problem for not being able to optimize 888 in order to rush out the product, not 888's limitations. have to see how it performs on the samsung s21.

Mi 11 battery drain test. The antutu score was only slighty faster than mi 10 ultra after 5 hours.

Reached 64.5C after about 16 minutes of 3dmark wild life stress test. That was measured with infrared thermometer at random single point after 1 minute of idle, peak temperature may be hotter.

It was also the hottest phones even at many of the other tasks.

iqoo 7 with 4096mm2 vapor chamber cooling is able to tame the temperature a bit better than mi 11.

the cooling system doesnt really matter. the heat has to go somewhere in the end. this guy is testing temperature on display, not SOC. looking like either the new arm designs suck or samsung 5nm is garbage.
tsmc 5nm and 7nm euv is doing way better.

No worries.

By the way,any issue on the China ROM? (eg. whatsapp msg not coming in, notification not coming in especially Banks OTP etc)

tbh I'm not using as daily driver, so did not install my bank/IM apps. But for the apps I've installed, no issues with notification. The device got google service built in, just install play store apk and you're good to go, so I assume all should be fine.
Usually I install xiaomi eu rom for China set xiaomi devices, but xiaomi eu ROM not yet available for mi11

sd888 is not using the full specs of Arm cortex x1.

think have to wait for 2 more generation after sd888.

sd888+ would probably be the same as 888, but with overclocked.

I read somewhere that some apps(eg. MS Teams) notification not working, thus wanna check if any other apps are affected.

Nonetheless, thanks for your info.
