I think it's better that you go watch the video.

it's very technical, they analyse every single component on the chip.

quite a few of the components on the SD888 are simply overclocked from SD865, in order to achieve the faster speed, but that in turns increase battery consumption and higher heat output.

888 is not power efficient, performance is top notch but it generates too much heat. device is noticeably hotter compared to 865 and Kirin devices
However I love the form factor and display. It's comfortable to hold and enjoyable to look at. So wasted

Battery is less than 5000mah what you expect? 50 mins for a full charge using 55w gan. Nowadays battery charging is so fast that it's not much of an issue
