This update more crappy. Earlier on I don't face charging issue after update 100% face no charging after full charge... Every time need to reboot phone.....

I faced since the very first firmware. xiaomi software not so good.

Foxconn has now operated factories at Brazil and most likely India too, to manufacture Xiaomi devices and other OEM products that they are contracted to(eg. Apple iPhone/iPad..).
Though the Brazil factory seems to do only Xiaomi devices.

Just received my grey mi4i today. Anyone experienced sim card not detected issue? Found invalid/unknown IMEI through settings and *#06#. Tried factory reset but not working.

Also, boot up seems quite slow ~2mins. Is it normal? And when I shut off the phone, there is this loading spin in the middle keep spinning wont shut off. Anyone having similar problems?

Correct leh. The metal chip part facing backside of phone. Tried 3 sim also not working.

yes, after update getting bad, use for a couple of minutes surfing internet less 10% battery~

I thought my old phone internal battery was bad so I bought a new phone, but this new update battery drain is just as bad~
