A daily cleanup of your phone via the 'Security' app and weekly(or daily) reboot may speed up the phone. :)

I don't really find it that laggy. Not zippy for sure but it's not that sluggish.

Is the sluggishness of this phone soley due to it using MIUI?

sidetrack a bit... how often do you guys reboot any phone you own? Cos i do it everyday irregardless of the phone... don't you guys switch it off at night?

It's overhyped phone. Mainly marketing. Most people that keep saying abt processors "powderful". But in fact is a bit too over rated. Multi tasking is a pain in the ass. Thought this is a s3 or even s6 killer, but my old s3 could have overrun it easily. So what went wrong xiaomi? Did I expect too much from the way ur product was advertised?

Agree that this Mi 4i isn't a fantastic phone. In fact, if you're not buying it as a back-up phone or are a really light user (call, whatsapp, wechat, very simple 1/2 games)... don't go near this phone! Spend $50 more, get a 2nd hand LG 3 or something.

But in all honesty, don't think it ever touted itself to be s6 killer :s13::s13:. The phone that had ambitions to rival S6 would be G4 and frankly, both phones have their own problems.

Envy you for getting such a good S3 set, care to share how you take care of your phone??? 3++ yrs already and still perform so well. My set is working fine but i'll have to be honest, everything the old S3 does (except for booting up time), Mi 4i can do better. :s13::s13::s13:
