I thought it is normal, no notification lights or message. Even for hangouts too. Lol

Im having problem with it and ex xiaomi phone too. Notification light and message kept giving me problem. Note all is local set that having problems.

Anyone did a battery replacement for your Mi 5 at a good third party repair shop that is recommended? Checked with Xiaomi Service Centre at Central but they no longer carry parts for Mi 5. Not quite a DIY guy so I wouldn't want to risk replacing it myself. TIA.

Using a Mi A2 4/64 now. Wanted the 6/128 version but back during LazMall 9.9 sales, only 4/64 was on sale so went for it instead. Great phone for the price, I don't find it a downgrade from my previous Mi 5. Android One software is refreshing too having used MIUI since 2014.
