under other permission -> android pay -> NFC -> Notify
I just changed to Accept and going to try later.

thanks for the reply. I actually managed to flash to global rom using a trick i found online using the chinese Mi PC suite.
My phone was doing funny things like sending my bro skype request and there's funny ads on the lockscreen etc, so guys beware when u buy. The distributor rom was about 1 gig more than the official one with some werid things running in the background.
the phone not bad lei. I paid $409 at lazada for the black version, $20 off using DBS credit card and shopback will supposedly give me $15 off ( with another $5 when i register the phone app) , so like $372. Sure its not a samsung s7, but it's half the price. I am happy.

did u manage to use any other promo/disc code to get further disc?

yupp there was a promo for $15 off for new lazada members. there was a citibank discount of $20 too during that period. then if you use shopback should have a 4% rebate too

oh and yes the plug is china plug. used a travel adapter to convert it back for use at home.

Global rom or China rom ?

Not very sure, on my phone it says MIUI Global 7.3 | Stable 7.3.4.0.0 (MAACNDD). Hear from my brother that the CNDD thing (who's using MI 5 too) is china ROM, but I can download android pay and also paid successfully at Swensens without flashing it

Yours is modified rom not safe to use. Official rom only come with 4 digits. Example 7.x.x.x.

I waited about 2 days

Because I wasn't sure how long the shipping from China would take, I opt for the option to collect on my own 1 week before the holiday...

In the end it took only around 2-3 working days for it to reach the shun feng collection centre. You need a Hong Kong number to buy though. But they don't check on my particulars or phone number when I collected...

MIUI Global 7.5 is not working
only way is to downgrade.(7.3.10.0)
I am using Mi3 and AP was working
Then it suddenly failed.(exact msg appear on my phone (as in the forum- telling me to unroot my phone)
Then I realised I had unintentionally upgraded to 7.5.1.0

btw I sent a msg about this silly update making my AP to fail, it sent back this msg (still yet to try- phobia liao)

edit : tried 3rd time(17th july) still error.
Now realised cannot even add card liao.

i am heading to China for a 8 days business trip and i am interested in purchasing mi5 from xiaomi.cn website.

Have any body tried ordering xiaomi to their hotel before? how long does it takes?

It cost 2299元 to get 64GB gold version, i assume this is on the china Rom you all have been talking about. Is there any other things i should be concern of?

i suggest you just get it on Shopee from 3cadvanced.sg

Only got white but total price is only $469.50 + $4.40 shipping cost
