standard mi 9 48MP camera aperature is f1.75, although exif state f1.8

But personally I am disappointed with the front camera and also battery size, as for the blink blink back looks nice but the novel eventually will be covered by a casing.

As for the back triple camera looks good and big improvement from previous gen but as compared to the current mate 20 pro still some way to go esp when we don’t know what hat tricks the other Brand’s will have.

The saving grace will still be the 2999 RMB pricing but that saving grace is a muted point as by the time the pricing comes to mi Sg with the huge over head and also the profiteering nature of mi Sg it will be place only slightly (very slightly) below the current flagship. Maybe if free the turbo charger and wireless charger and either car charger or power bank, to have a worthy combo to combat the much higher Sg pricing.

As they will relegate the mid and Budget range to Redmi.

So conclusion mi 9 will sit just below pricing of s10e which Samsung is throwing a pair of true wireless EarPods (don’t know this promo will be continue by various Sg telco)

Finally fundamentally there are different target audience as Xiaomi from what I see is mainly targeting CN and India as major markets and trickle down to Asia for tier 2-3 markets.

Whereas Samsung is worldwide market with India and Asia as main markets
