They way they tease this is like a lot better. So maybe it's either the 700 series or the price is cheaper than A2. But i rather pay a bit more to have the 730 lol. And Xiaomi usually try to put the latest in their phones so maybe they have been saving it for A3 :D

I think Unboxtherapy already have the phone, just waiting for the go ahead from Xiaomi to put out the review.

Disappointing to me

1) Only has a 720p screen compared to the 1080p screen on the A2

2) Only available in 4GB RAM unlike the A2 which had a 6GB variant.

Why push out headphone jack when people are still using it ? Not to mention better sound quality and no charging required.

With their latest naming trend, there is a slight chance that there might be a "pro" version

But since so many phone gave up headphone jack, I feel the trend already moving towards wireless then suddenly push out headphone jack again. Now a bit too late to do that rite?

To people who were already using wireless audio or switching, it will be the "in" thing.

In fact, there was never benefit to end users except to manufacturers who can save on component costs and sell you expensive Bluetooth headset.

Just look at the sales of Bluetooth headset before and after they forcefully remove headphone jack. They are laughing all the way to the bank.

If a company cut out a feature (headphone jack) then regret and bring back in a subsequent generation because they felt it was a bad move, I think consumers stand to gain. Imagine if Samsung when they released the S6 they stubbornly believe that people don't need microSD anymore (cos remember the S6 didn't have microSD) then S7 onwards also no more microSD.

Personally I don't think no jack = transition to wireless. On my daily commute I still see more lightning dongles than airpods, as if some people are still hellbent on sticking to wired earphones even if it means having that clunky dongle around.

The real trend is not about the era of wireless coming in, but more like everyone blindly follow apple's 'courage' action with the iphone 7. It's the same with adopting the notch, which was another thing that many people didn't like but "because apple did it and so many companies follow suit, no choice but to live with it"

Biggest evidence that there is no 'wireless audio' trend at all: majority of audio gear made after the iPhone7 is still wired, and unlike phone industry, other industries like PC and game consoles kept the 3.5mm jack. Companies making wireless stuff... the wireless thing is like 0.001% of their portfolio... do u know if u go apple store now u can still buy wired earpods?
