4/64 I know is rmb 1499 -> S$345, but then you have to fly to china to get this price.

If you want to get it here physically (export set), there is always a markup price, like mi6 6/64 china price is rmb 2499 -> S$504, but here you can only get at S$700 ($650 if you wait for discount coupon/code), so a mark up price of S$146 (=28.6%).

so S$345 * 28.6% = S$444. (triple 4 not nice =:p, they will most likely sell at S$450 etc).

The redmi note 4 you get from mi store/lazada has the highest markup price (S$259). export set reseller can sell it at around S$200-S$220, cheap but still markup from china price. :s22:
the mi store one got warranty though, so the markup is rather okay~

I take back my posting.. not buying Max 2 simply don't like the idea of CPU downgrade from sd652.

Markup by export resellers will be reduced once Xiaomi SG bring in Mi Max 2 officially.

Any news from Xiaomi SG?

I think this is the usual compare when considering buying a big phone. From GSMArena.

We just hope that the expert set can reach our local sellers ASAP.

Local warranty set... Well, can wait long long a bit.
