i downloaded the global beta fastboot rom but didn't flash.
i think i make a correct decision to stick to eu rom that also released shortly aft...

China 7.6.22 is fine.

Anyway, current batch of beta roms has auto brightness bug. It just doesn't work. Gosh.

Other than that, the beta rom runs likes a 9-speeds Ferrari siol..

hey guys, don't root your phone with latest firmware 8.1.5..

it cannot detect my sim card now.. past two updates were fine with root, but not now.

i will post more updates.

EDIT: After reverting the root, issue solved.

Ahh! That's interesting...!

Could it be that I unlocked my bootloader that caused my above-mentioned problem too with this new firmware

Come to think of it. No wonder the MIUI Global rom forum modulator asked me if my phone is unlocked yesterday... Something fishy.. Haha.

I'm waiting for more simulation results carried out by folks here...
