I think it has its point to remove the vibration if unlock is successful while it vibrates when its not successful to differentiate the result without looking at the display.

Actually, I like it that way or rather it should be that way.

For the Messenger app.

Uninstall it. Reboot. Reinstall it. That should fix it.

As for your camera. Did you mess with the privacy or permission settings of the Mi Max?

It seems that the camera is not given any write permission to your storage.

For me, there isn't any issue with any apps after upgrading to 8.2.1.0 Global.

Some games eg candy crash also need to re install to recover. Problem. Is I play them without login to Facebook. So the score is reset and need to play from start again.

Very poor firmware QC from Xiaomi.

Guess is a bug. My phone get vibrate when login successfully via figure print at this new version. Or same as before. In fact the vibration come before the screen turn on.
Seem to confirm my finger is at the right place.
Very useful when using the phone at dark.

Try turning off and on to setup again.

why not downgrade the firmware? personally, i find it perfect with MIUI 7.

I'm hoping for something smaller, probably closer to 6 inch, maybe 6.2. Also if they improve the camera, price won't be so affordable liao

Yah lah, I think so too. Wah lau, downgrade is kind of going backwards leh.

Might as well try Android 7.0. Anybody with Mi Max 32GB tried yet?
