Sorry don't have spare phone now, so cannot take pics on my phone. Go to those more reputable shop in shopping mall, most carry X ONE brand. However not sure if they have mi max ones with them. Mine got it at bukit panjang new shopping mall at b1. The shop name "Explore mobile", it is a concept store that carry x one products. Beside singtel authorized dealer shop, opposite best denki.

Edit: do note that this screen protector is not cheap type, it is premium. SRP Cost $38.

Then find 3rd party shop to try to repair.

Local set with 1 yr warranty: $349
Export set with no warranty: $209-249 (depending on what promos you use)

Take your pick. Either take the risk and save $100 or more, or pay more for local warranty.

doesn't matter ... as those "1month" phone if during promotion price is only 60% the cost of 1year warranty phones


you get 1 year warranty also doesn't mean your phone will become unbreakable ... it only cover manufacturing fault not user fault

Try to look for local set then. That's the risk you'll have to take if you want to save the $100. But budget phone like the Mi Max export set if spoil then just throw. Not worth repairing unless you can DIY.

Price different is too great. I would go for imported set. Every 2 you buy can almost get another phone spare to cover your warranty.

Anyone have a gold set? and when taking picture under any lighting without flash, the skin color will turn yellow. Its funny i test the camera even not taking the pictures, it look yellow on the camera screen on some angle, then i tilt it , the skin color back to normal. (i also have a black flip cover on)

especially visible when taking picture of someone, the skin will turn very yellow, almost golden yellow lol.

Updated to the lastest rom, still exist

I recall I did read someone posted about saturation setting at the camera, but i forget who says so lol, maybe is bro kelvinti. Try lower it.

Yes! Me, me!

Set the Saturation to "Low" from the default's "Normal" helps!

However, it is only too yellow when taking photo under the florescent light.

Let's hope that the next MIUI update will correct the Saturation!

I have taken a photo of the X-ONE temper glass that is current pasted on my phone, using my old samsung galaxy s2, so please bear with the quality of it.

It will appear a bit yellowish on the actual screen protector as it is meant to protect your eyes via X-ONE patent design (hence it explains the premium price). It is a bit wider then the actual screen size but narrower than the borders. I had used b4 on samsung note 4 and had been waiting for it to come out for mi max. Only found out recently it has for it.

So if you guys don't mind the premium price, then go for it. Else stay away from it as I know the srp price is pretty non negotiable.

Like I mentioned previously, I got mine from the new bukit panjang shopping mall (Hillion Mall) at B1, shop name "Explore Mobile" (X-ONE concept store located beside singtel authorized dealer shop, opp best denki).

I think you also able to get it from those mobile shop at malls, provided they bring in for mi max.
