for the first time i am charging after using for 2.5 days..

i used my old xiaomi charger and the cable to charge from 19%.. seeing it got stuck for quite a while i unplug and plugged it in again.. then it dropped to 13%.. then i off it the battery jumped to 42% at the off-ed charging screen.

my phone not hot but my plug hot. is my plug faulty? lol. or my phone faulty.

and the charging take quite a white sia.. one hour only up around 17%..

Hi all,

My phone decided to give up on me, so now looking for a replacement phone and am seriously considering Mi Max. Still trying to read through all the posts from page 1... Just a few questions and hope someone kind can advise me:

1) looking between the 3/64 and 4/128 model. Worth to top up for the higher spec model or 3/64 is more than good enough for daily use?
2) export vs local set. If getting an export set, anything to look out for (ROM MIUI version etc)? Any issues on warranty if the need arises should the set be faulty?
3) any recommendation on where and which shop is reliable to buy the Mi Max?
4) know nuts about flashing or rooting etc, how to go about doing it if need be?
5) any other things to take note of?
Thanks in advance for all replies.

Hi anyone bought from Ziming Global Qoo10 store? I just got my unit from them. According to the online stall they says no auto updating of firmware OTA but need to manual do it on PC. But when I went down to collect and ask that guy he says cannot must go down and let them update.:s22:

So is can or cannot update ourselves:(

Based on the photo you have posted. That is a very bad light bleeding display panel.

Something is very wrong for sure.

The display panel should be in a total darkness when screen is locked or off. You should not be seeing any light.
