Hi guys,

I searched a few qoo10 and lazada shops and the mi max 32GB Gold export sets (and seems to need you to buy Spring approved adaptor) is not any much cheaper than the hachi.tech pre-order. Am i seeing it right or am i missing something here?

Thanks man. I'll have to sell mine and get probably the OP3. My mi5 doesn't play 1080p60fps video from YouTube as well.

Anyone got this problem before keyboard stuck at homescreen when at whatapp press back button. Can u all try go whatapp open any chat and make keyboard appear and press home button then open whatapp again press back button all the way to homescreen.

Followup to my fingerprint /lockscreen issue :
*Solved*
The launcher I was using (Buzz Launcher), had its own lockscreen. I just disabled it's lockscreen and just use the stock lockscreen and this launcher, and fingerprint unlocks my Mi Max immediately! Loving this phone more by the day!!

No more poking my bird now. Instead it pokes my backside...by putting into my back pants pocket.. Haha.

Anyway, it is my secondary phone. So, I usually put it inside my sling bag or working bag with my smaller Note 5 in my pants pocket.

Oh Ya! I'm going to get a Multisim subscription to have a second sim card on my Mi Max to share the 7GB of bundled data per month with my Note 5.

So I can fully utilize my Mi Max on the go and not to miss any call...

Don't get me wrong. MIUI8 Beta is surely much much more butterry smoother than MIUI7 in term of UI and animation. It feels very butter for sure!

However, some apps that I use or functions are still not that polished or compatible yet lah.

You stay put at MIUI8..Okay!

On this topic, recall that time rECKleSSfElla mentioned that he wasn't getting true QC3 speed? Using a USB doctor to check the V/A, max mine is getting is 7.55V/2.04A = 15.4W. It's not hitting the full 18W possible under QC3.0, but not sure if it's supposed to anyway, since it's not an 'official' feature. I'm quite glad that it even draws up to 15W.

Using choetech qc 3.0 charger to charge my max. From 3 to 100% takes around 2 and 1/2 hrs and as some1 mentioned previously, fast charge is supported but it doesnt seem to be true qc 3.0 speed. I am into only my 3rd charge cycle so i think the battery is still probably not yet optimized but i am encountering some weird issues with the battery. Sometimes the battery indicator will one shot drop by 2-3%. I did some tests and it doesnt seem to be a wake-lock or rogue app problem. Hopefully the battery will stabilize when i get more charges into it.
