$200-$300 Mi Max is fine in that context but Mi MIX at that sky high price.... Gosh!... Super high liability and confirmed lose money until siao ...

It's the global ROM as clarified by seller in comment at shopee

Yup, have an additional Mastercard $10 coupon for purchases above $100. So applied that, plus the Cyber Monday $50. Then use Q-Points and paid via Paypal (with Amex Rebates card) so will get another 1.5% cash rebate (from Amex).

So total cost me $285.65 for the 64Gb. (Yes, I hooted!)

No confidence to buy from "Xiaomi Store" although I prefer the silver version.

With such reasonable low price now, and if you have a higher budget, go for the top end Prime... The 4/128/652.

Actually if don't need the extra ram, I think the sweet spot will be the 64GB. Then get a 64GB Samsung Evo+ microSD (costs between 28~32, depending on where you buy). I think this combo good enough.
