From Lazada. The $20 discount is from dbs posb Friday coupon.

Sometime Lazada has its own deal with the seller for special pricing for certain lots of limited stocks for certain period of so-called promotion..

In store, you will not get that price as in Lazada.

Btw, did you ask Simder of their set are non china sets?

Actually they did mentioned their units are from China in lazada page.

After much observation on the price of Mi Max between 3/64 and 4/128 based on the current market price.

It is definitely more worth it to pay the extra for 4/128 in term of price verse specification ratio.

So, you guys know what to buy. :)

Basically, and based on your budget, you either buy the 3/32 or up your budget to buy the 4/128.

3/64 is not worth it (No offence is intended to 3/64 owners here wor. I'm just doing a comparison). Coz it is neither here or there with just that extra 32GB of storage over 3/32.

Oh Ya. Just noticed the print:

"We will open the box to install Google playstore.."

So, I guess they mean to preload global rom for the buyers coz it doesn't make sense to me to just install Google services on the original china rom.

Brought my mi max to newstar today and they managed to unbrick the phone and also flash global rom. So luckily it is not a hardware issue after all.

Finally can happy poon pee pee as how kelvin will say. Hahaha.

Trying to use mi mover to move my stuffs from old phone to new and it seems to be stuck at restoration of some apps. Anybody have similar issues with mi mover hanging at restoring apps? All the other stuffs like SMS, audio and video were moved successfully though but none of the apps from old phone has shown up on the new phone. And mi mover is still showing restoring...

I guess I might have to do factory reset and just transfer the key items and avoid any of the apps? Haiz. Still can't poon pee pee yet.

Good to hear that, bro! :)

In that case and if you have time....

Just do a flash. Make it a total clean start.

One time pain. Forever poon pee pee without worrying about any apps issues or conflict of old and new.. :)

Bigger screen, less privacy of coz, unless you apply those "privacy" type of screen protector.

I, or rather those who have been using Mi Max for long, handling the Mi Max is no more of any concern as we have adapted to the size and know how to hold it, operate it safely so not to drop it.

The matter of fact, holding back a smaller phone... I may drop the smaller phone instead. Lol..

Adaptation rate is the key. You will find that the Mi Max is not that big afterall once you have adapted to it after a week or 2. :)
Funny when I read your reply, I think of Jamie Yeo.
