SD650 vs. SD652

Qualcomm Snapdragon 650
Hexacore = 2x ARM Cortex A72, 4x ARM Cortex A53

Qualcomm Snapdragon 652
Octacore = 4x ARM Cortex A72, 4x ARM Cortex A53

Benchmark-wise (Antutu), SD652 is slightly faster than SD650
Xiaomi Mi Max (SD650) = 68,200
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (SD652) = 70,932

But in real life usage, you won't be able to tell any difference because almost all apps are not optimised to run on more than 2 cores. More cores will only help make multi-tasking slightly more responsive, so IMHO, there's really no point spending more money to get the SD652 because both SD650 & SD652 are running at the exact same clockspeed (max 1.8 GHz).

2 extra cores if I'm not wrong
I don't feel any diff.

is there significant difference between 650 vs 652?

Don't think there will be significant difference. But if the pricing is really close, then might as well get the SD652 sets right?

Unless the pricing is too big, then no point.

Depends on storage n sim usage if you are someone who needs more storage same time wanna use 2 sims then 652 is a better option as inbuilt u get 64 or 128 for 652 and u can use 2 sims. But for 650 u get only 32 gb so more storage u add sd card u loose 2 sim options

Hooted one set from Lazada. Total damage around $310 (including one transparent case and 2x glass protector from taozi). The protector from Taozi do not fully cover the phone. Any source for full coverage glass protector for Mi Max?
