OK, test results.

Tested on both Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Xiaomi Mi Max using Sony SBH52

Same sounds on both phone, not much different. be it 50% (soft) or 100% (loud).

I tested without using any Sony Software, becoz I don't use the bluetooth now as Xiaomi Mi MAX have radio (yes another thing I fall in love for). Bought Sony SBH52 becoz it have FM radio on the headset when I'm still using Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Anyway side note. Did you turn up the volume on Xiaomi Mi Max and your bluetooth (if any). Becoz I do notice the volume control on my Sony SBH52 do not control the volume on the hp itself (both sets). Which means, you need to do manually on both bluetooth and hp.

Some info for the phones I testing
- Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (5.1.1)
- Xiaomi Mi MAX 64GB (China stable 7.5.6)

Lazada sms updates cocked up one.

I received Lazada sms telling me the courier had delivered my parcel 1 day after I received my Mi Max...

The Bluetooth audio volume is indeed low... I have to turn the Bluetooth volume on both my Mi Max and RN3 to almost the max in order to achieve the the desired loudness of my connected audio devices.

The volume is my first minus point... I'm using Sony sbh70. I need to max phone and headset volume in MRT.. previously on my LG phone or lousy tablet, I only use like 40%... Don't understand why

hmmmm, well the bluetooth sound the same on both Samsung and Xiaomi. But that's on Sony SBH52 la.

Anyway wired is louder on both hp also but xiaomi achieve louder volume (100% volume, no sound enhancer on both sets). So.... maybe my test can't really judge it lol.

MIUI Team really need to fix the Bluetooth low volume issue fast!

It has been there for few versions of MIUI7 already, and carried the issue unsolved to MIUI8.

Aparts from that, MI Max and RN3 are awesome devices at the price tag.

Exactly. Don't understand why there's this problem with Bluetooth headset. Im guessing this low volume issue will apply to any external or Bluetooth speakers as well..

That bug report is applicable to Mi Max when Mi Sound Enchanter is activated on any rom.

So, don't use the Mi Sound Profile at the moment.

well that i not sure le. but like i mentioned on my test, both samsung and xiaomi are having the same lvl of sound while testing using my Sony SBH52, i.e. 50% soft, 100% loud. so I not sure abt your side.

and if my memory serves me right, all along the sbh52 on my samsung is like that.

Haha. No choice mai..Must get a casing asap. If drop, dented the side or corner, the pain is going to be just more than $6 bah...
