i think mix 2s will be the last best design of bezeless phone.

The sliding design quite turn off. It's like back to the 90s phone? A small teardrop notch like the essential phone would be a good compromised imo.. then need work on notifications part, some info like battery percentage is high priority that needs to be shown at all times. Most people will hate to drop the notification bar just to check the battery imo. Other icons like apps can be lower priority and if allows for customizable multi color led for apps will be best

Ask u all. If I am currently using only a Redmi Note 4, is Mi Mix 2s a considerable upgrade? I have been using the note series mainly because affordable, but the mtk heating issue has been a headache.

More than just upgrades. It's more of jumping into another bandwagon. But u need to ditch mircosd slot if u are using.

Means China set on China ROM doesn't work with Global ROM once you locked bootloader.

I'm not sure if Global set on China ROM.

I wonder if this will apply for all future Xiaomi phones. They are basically committing suicide if Xiaomi implements this across all phones.
