No. Dun need to pay gst. Thats why you shld buy these on your own. Why pay more for parallel imports?

You just need a simple taobao account only. Make direct payment to xiaomi's tmall or taobao store and ship to the address of those international forwarders. Pay rmb1.99 and have them add to your existing shopping cart n ship over will do.

Bought an additional set, 16gb Bamboo version, I'm cancelling the order if no one needs it as I managed to get a 64gb model during the flash sale.

Xiaomi might just release it in India first before Singapore as India has huge population and thus a sizeable market! :s8:

I'm waiting for Mi Note Pro, actually...!:s22:

its easy to register. actual availability depends on how fast they settle their logistics

With reference to the Redmi 2, it was registered around end-January and was launched around March, so it seems to take around 2 months or so.

It also depends on Xiaomi, as they are the ones who's gonna sell it to consumers. They too also registered the Mi WiFi Router and Mi Box too but they haven't launch it yet. :)

is it possible to add in extra memory for the note? Bought the bamboo but dint notice its only 16gb and no dc card slot..... 16gb not enough for me although I love the bamboo look.
