In china, MI Note price just dropped to RMB 1999 for 16gb model. They will also be releasing a new 全网通 model on 7th Jul. (previously only 双网通）

But their release in Singapore is way too slow.

Now xiaomi china website no need pre-order for note pro. But heard note pro got some heat issue , now considering to get note or note pro (1000 rmb difference) ? Any advice; thanks

Both slot supports LTE, can change through miui software, but only 1 slot for LTE and the other slot for 2G only, this is always the case for dual sim dual standby phone (since only 1 antenna).

Dual sim dual active phone with 2 antennas can do both slot LTE at the same time, but now only limited to qualcomm x10 or x12 modem only, and very difficult to find.

LG G3 D858 is such phone, but its TD-LTE.

SIM2 is only for calls and SMS essentially.... there will not be data transmission on SIM2 when SIM1 is using the data module in the phone
