Oh I see... so seems like the Mi Pad 4 supports carrier aggregation of bands 3+8... would like to see if Starhub 4G+ works or not on this tablet...

anyidea which Qoo10 shop have gloabla rom?
for the 846513984453213561321 times..
there are no GLOBAL ROM for the Mi Pad 4 yet...

latest official rom stable or beta can be download from http://www.miui.com/download-349.html

when global roms are released.. they'll be on
http://en.miui.com/download.html

For those who bought the one loaded with Global rom.

Could you check if you are able to set Privacy Protection Password in the settings or it crashes halfway through.

Apologies for not being specific.
I am referring to the fake fan made global rom.
If you get the LTE version from New Electronics on Qoo, it comes with this 'global' rom.

Yes, is a fake ROM.
Using this kind of ROM is risky, you don't know what's in there.

You are right.
But I don't have time and lack the expertise to dwell into flashing it anymore.
Plus I only use it as a casual throw around device.

I almost bought it until one member mention here no global rom. Think mi pad 3 is the same.

Is anyone on China room able to set live wallpapers?
I saw that Themes was installed through the settings menu but don't see it on my home screen.
Is it something to do with region? But I can't seem to find the region selection also.

In addition, are y'all able to use the search function within the notification shade? Every time I tap on it, it opens and immediately closes.
