1. Does the battery drain on standby?
One of the best features of an iPad is that the battery percentage stays the same if the screen is not turned on. That is, if you leave it in your cupboard for a week, the battery level stays the same.

My experience with Android tablets (from years ago) have been quite negative because the battery drain has been horrendous during standby. Not sure about the current state of Android.

2. Is the aspect ratio a concern for you?
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5's aspect ration is 16:10, while the iPad's 4:3
Do ya'' think 16:10 is a little cramp?

16:10 - good for Netflix and Youtube; good for multi tasking; good for gaming
4:3 - good for browsing websites; good for notes taking

Just set up my Xiaomi Pad 5 partially. . Very snappy and smooth for a S$400 range Android tablet!

First thing first! Sideloading my "games"...

Gosh! What a huge huge improvement in gameplay, be it audio or visual/graphics as I'm coming from a Samsung Tab A7 (2020)!

From a 11nm's SD662 / Adreno 610 / 3GB RAM to a 7nm's SD860 / Adreno 640 / 6GB RAM! I can't ask for more!

Also, Netflix and YouTube are good with this guy too!

The 4-speakers are awesome (I customized the EQ to more bass as I'm a bass person!

Super happy with Xiaomi Pad 5! No regret totally for the money spent!

last night 12am I left it at 97%

Today 12pm it was 95%

aspect ratio not an issue for me but somehow Apple's 11inch seems larger

I see! Okay. I was given a shop receipt by the seller with the serial number of my Xiaomi Pad 5 printed on it.
