Wanna hoot 64gb from china xiaomi web...thinking to use forwarder. NEcessary to get insurance for it not? Only diff is no local warranty right? Anyone wanna hoot also share shipping

bro loveaddict, i'm keen....64gb how much huh?
but the ultimate question is: does it support USB OTG?

Not sure about the PS emulator, particularly how much memory or storage it requires.
But for the other uses, 16GB in the device seems plenty.
Video/music/photos can be stored on the ext SD card, leaving the 16GB purely for OS and apps. Seems fine to me :)

actually the ps emulator and the games take not much space, most important is it can support UB OTG so that i can plug-in 3rd party controller :D
and if the emulator apps and game files can transfer to sd card, it will be best !! ;)

What is usb otg. Im tech noob. Worried about warranty only. Cousin advise to wait for mi sg to release 64gb, or buy direct from mi china website. So dunno if i should buy from bushido or not...

Still procrastinating though, dunno if its worth me spending the money. If buy will be for watching shows and for school, laptop too heavy and troublesome (plus power plug and mouse) to bring around. But gian leh.

Not sure about 3rd party controller, but my MiPad is able to use USB OTG card reader.

Buyers do take note that this tablet don't have gps, alarm functions, miui V6 is strip down version so a lot of features are missing. And some Google store apps doesn't support it. I own 1 so far it serve it's purpose for me like playing games and watching videos

I will be camping for the local set the next week. Can anyone recommend a good reliable (and cheap) microSD card? I am looking at getting a 64GB or 128GB for MiPad. It will be mainly use to store video and music files.

64G export = s$400
32G export =s$350

As i had few tablet...i do not use for media consumption largely due to weight (heavier than Tab S or Z3 tablet). Also the color of the screen is not as vibrant as the other. However, games like half life could b play :)

Not sure about 3rd party controller, but my MiPad is able to use USB OTG card reader.

i uses Moga controller n OTG on my mipad. It wprks fine

There are games mean for K1 chip...i do not see compatibility issue. Perhaps what do u wish to install?

Nexus 7 will hv lollipop while mipad might not. Mipad is 7.9"...thus its nearer to 8".

suggest you get 64gb Samsung evo. I bought mine from passion gadget on qoo10 last time, about 50 bucks for 64gb. Confirmed real and have warranty :)

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes its the Xiaomi Mi Pad Ultra Slim Smoothie Tempered Glass Screen Protector

Regard to the usage for the Mi Pad is pretty good with the pricing too. Playing intense gaming quite awesome only slightly heavier. WIFI connection was good too. Display was super fine and details. Battery wise quite average. Pretty good for home usage or movie at home for its pricing
