Quite common for Xiaomi.sg site. May be is same programmer as Miui.

MI Singapore not selling Mipad anymore, they should be preparing for mipad 2 launch late 15. If u cant wait can get it thru taobao or qoo10.

Do you need the SD card slot? If not, it's better to get the Mi Pad 2.

Get the 64gb mipad 2 if u want, the 16gb seems so little to store the movies for offline watching. Cheaper way is to get mipad and add sd card.

Also bought from the same shop on Lazada. Received in good condition but found that the tablet is very lag? Unlike what all the online reviews have been saying about it being fast. Is it a chiong MiPad2? My expectations not realistic? Or only my set got something wrong?

Was it sealed when you received it? Try downloading CPU-Z and see if it is the real specs. Also look at the screen and see if it is laminated? chiong one screen usually quite cui and can see the difference.

From my experience so far, if you are running multiple apps, it's laggy.

E.g. Open Facebook then click a link to open in browser.

MI Pad only have 2gb of ram which is not quite enough to run many apps concurrently.

Actually, even if I only open one tab (Facebook), it is quite lag.

Not to mention the Internet up/download speed seems to be very slow? Gmail on the browser takes considerably longer to load than on my other tablet.

Mipad2 is very terrible, dont buy

Ya both Chrome and Edge always go into the 'Not Responding' state (mine is Windows). Very long never see this happen already haha cos nowadays the devices are all so fast.

But SOOOO many people online have been giving glowing reviews leh

Damn. Luckily I cancelled my order. Didn't know it what that bad. I bought it for the laminated display but didn't know will lag so badly. Thanks for the info

most android devices are very lag. even my nexus device also lag like hell. totally not usable, waste of money.
