Sometimes will lose internet connection even when it is still connected to WiFi
I have to turn off and turn on WiFi again to reconnect to the internet.

Ya! i had the same issue, left the tablet on the table sleep mode with 26% batt. After few hours, screen cannot be turned on, press n hold power button did not help either. So i charged it thinking batt is dead which is impossible. Screen did not show charging for few mins till i keep on pressing n holding down power button. Suddenly it started a power on screen with the MI logo and boot up with 23% batt.
Means batt was not dead but tablet went "dead" for some reason.

Any one have a fix or think can i qualify for a 1 to 1 exchange?

Gotten back my mipad w the new replaced screen. Problem now is worst. Afte factory reset, the OS is now super laggy. Cannot connect successfully to internet.

How to hard reset?

Tks for all the, instructions and links for ROMS. Tried the Fastboot method (via PC) and my MiPad still does not work. Basically it detects the wireless networks, but cannot connect to them. Suspect my unit has a faulty wireless network chip. Originally was a non-responsive screen which went dead on me till they changed it.

While waiting for a 1-1 replacement, I'm now using it to watch my movies via SD card. Screen is great.

Can't help but feel that the Mipads this batch is kinda lousy QC. Quite unlike the xiaomi products that I had previously. Something is not right.

Suggest 1 for 1 exchange. Guess they yet to have spares available.

Yes.

Hahaha, I had exactly the same problem hence I did some research. Couldn't be happier. Got adblocker running and a few other power apps which I miss greatly. :s12::s12::s12:

Hoping that the community grows and the CM version is out. Hate the original interface. :s22:
