Anyone flashed to the latest ROM? If not, do it quick. There are two very noticeable enhancements in this ROM.

- FM radio. Didn't know there's a built-in tuner!

- improved memory management. I'm able to get 1gb of free memory after clearing apps. Previously, I only get about 900+mb even after a fresh reboot.

So it seems like developers are working hard to improve the experience of MI pad users.

Yes, agree. Been looking for a 9-10" 4:3 screen. Because once we get used to a 8" 16:10, a 8" 4:3 will look 'smaller' (actually narrower) in landscape mode. So a 8" 16:10 user when changing to a new 4:3 device should look at something 8.9" to 9.7" to feel the upgrade.

Mi Pad and Zenpad S are both 8". Tab 2 9.7 I don't like the design. Nexus 9 is what I want but $660 with no warranty... sigh, helpfully something nice will come.

Tried searching for Google from mi store but it's no longer there. Tried downloads the Googleapk but doesn't work.

Spent the whole day on this...

So wld really appreciate if anyone can let me know if there is a shop or someone I can pay to help me set it up. It's for my kids that I bought this mipad to replace their Samsung. Many thanks in advance.

Root and flash CM will get rid of the Youtube lag issue. Works for me
