This pad mini like suddenly disappeared into thin air. Official xiaomi website oos. Lazada listing gone. Even the ah beng that selling it last week suddenly no more list it in carouhell

More like screw ups since their marketing materials and listed prices differs.
Likely they received feedbacks and decided to delist for now, not sure when or even if it will come back...

Cause the discount initially when just released can get $689, but marketing material is $649.

The snafu with pricing since the release is dissapointing from Xiaomi.

I think if really want cheap...the only option is either from TB or Ping Duo Duo...get the KPad.

That one really cheap....somemore can get 16gb 1tb for under 800 with shipping included. Acutally also duno why for tablet i dont go for kpad....unlike cnphone that is plagued with G service restrictive , notification for years. maybe need to remove some bloat ware thats all.
