Hi everyone, getting a phone for my mum, mainly using for WhatsApp, surfing web, watching videos.

She's currently using a redmi 8A. Poco X5 8gb and Poco F4 6gb now about the same price. Which is a better buy?

Ask your Mum, let her choose since she's the one going to use it(Her opinion is important and respect her choices).

She's not into gaming nor photo taking, so the spec doesn't matter much for basic usage, both phones can definitely exceeded her 8A. So it's comes down more to the looks and her liking. (Remember to cover the price-tags or they will reject or usually goes for cheaper one instead of what she prefers).

Is there anyone using this phone X5 5G version? Able to use 5G? And which mobile network is that?

Poco official store on shopee having further discount on their phones including X5... got bank coupon also that u can use cos today 25 Aug sale...

I am still considering

(1) F4 6/128gb - $309
(2) X5 5G - $258
(3) X3 GT - $268
(4) M5s - $169

X3 seems like older but the specs seems more power. Initially also thinking about Vivo Y35 ($300) or Realme 10 ($300) also

Ic... where did u see M5s at $169? Btw u can get Redmi Note 10 pro 5G w/global rom (same phone as Poco X3 GT) at a much cheaper price in Lazada... look for the seller "Turtle Brand"

Global rom means Chinese set with flash rom? Will have lots of issue?
