I see the difference until blur..

The version with the circle button doesn't support USB-C output, while the version with the rectangle button support USB-C output.

Both versions support USB-C or micro USB input, and USB-A output.

means this type of wire? I haven't come across this for phones yet, but for macbook yes.

Got quite a few phones come with USB-C to USB-C cables like the latest Galaxy Note phones and Google Pixel phones.

However, you can't use the powerbank to charge Macbook as the output current is only 18W. Macbook takes in minimum 45W, which only the Powerbank 3 20000mAh (Pro) can support.

Yes, you can use this type of cable to charge the powerbank. The circle button version also can be charged with this cable.
