Hi guys that have redmi note 2 can help check if there is thai language support for the Singapore version or just Chinese and English. THanks.

The 4th selection should be Thai right? But mine is China set on global developer rom.

If we compare redmi note 2 to mi note, which is better? I'm getting for my father and redmi note 2 is priced higher for combo 1. But when checked against mi.com mi note is much more expensive than redmi note 2. Why is it like this?

Newer vs older.

On paper, mi note is better than redmi notre 2.

But it is using an almost 2 years old flagship processor whereas redmi note 2 is on a mediatek octa core mid range processor with a supposedly better camera.

I own both devices and i felt that in terms of battery life and performance, mi note is better for me...

Maybe it could be Singtel trying to clear their Mi Note stocks, it's a steal IMO for a flagship phone to be at this price, though Redmi Note 2 is newer than Mi Note but flagship will usually guarantee a better quality than their affordable counterparts. :)

anyone using custom rom for this phone?

somehow i feel the stock rom very battery consuming.... cant last full day with it...

Shd not consider getting frm telco.
Both units r low in price.

Street price
redmi note 2 - 229
mi note (64gb) - 350

Used mi note is less than 300

hey what the hell why the new update gave my lock screen carousel

how to disable? it's annoying, everytime i pick up my phone i feel like i accidentally took someone else's

Btw, any Redmi Note 2 user able to get the bold words function on your whatsapp? My friend claims can see my text in bold, but i cannot see mine and theirs bold leh.

only in android whatsapp .535. subsequent versions have removed it.

may be a test function like whatsapp call previously, we've had .535 for a fairly long amount of time.
