Those of u whom bought this phone from Adix82. Did he flash in the google apps for you? I understand that the China set doesnt come with google apps de.

I have never really use a China phone without Google, so scare will struggle if cannot flash...


Btw, Adix and Adix82 are different sellers???

maybe go down to sim lim n take a look first b4 purchasing on qoo10 . thx for the advice . There shouldnt be fakes so fast ba ? since it was just released in china .

Its been discussed that redmi note 2 does not support fast charging speeds despite specs indicating so.

For $280 sounds reasonable if it is local set but since it is not right to bargain abit. Guess when it comes to sg is expected to be $270 for prime, while normal is $230. China forums quite a number of complain. Even with miui 7, their battery life still abit cui. Also some people complaining wifi issues, getting cut intermittently. Hope all can be resolved by software update and not hardware issue.

local set as in China? I also think $280 quite reasonable le, tempted to get it too. But hoping can find the casing and screen protector when getting the phone at the same thing. I usually don't like to use my phone bare de...
Any recommendations where I can get the casing and SP? I know taobao cheapest lah, but shipping may take 1-2 weeks lor...

I got the full cover including the port holes one and a tempered glass screen protector. Apparently for tempered glass screen protectors there are many kind available on the market but not all cover the screen fully. Saw the feed back for seller that his cover fully,so i bought it.Item dispatched already but waiting to receive.

Redmi Note 2 does not support quick charge. Have been tested by quite a few people already. Advertised is fast charging at 5V/1.5A. However, tests conducted shows that charging current is 1.38A. So yea....to charge a full 3060mah takes on avg about 2~hrs. The thing about quick charge was speculation prior to the release.

Thanks man! I ordered 2 of each for myself le. I think i will secured the accessories le then get the phone, to be safe. :p
