Look like we have the same problem... Try all way but still having the delay for my export set purchase last month. The only solution is to root the phone and transfer whatsapp to system app.

I m still trying to look for a place or expat who can help me do it..

Just read on Xiaomi Facebook that only getting from their online site, Telco or Challenger then they will honor their local warranty leh. Means getting from other mobile shops cannot wor.... Seriously???

Those venues listed by Xiaomi are officially recognized by them, but if you get from other mobile shops they might not officially recognize it but if it's a local set(identifying with the IMEI or serial number) they will probably still service for it.

Indeed. That said, unless you really trust the source of the phones from those mobile shops, and if you can check the IMEI upon purchasing from these shops, I'm not sure it is safe to get from 3rd parties.

Went challenger to check out the price but the staff never say the price included screen protection warranty.

I don't think the accidental damage warranty comes with the phone at $319 if you aren't a member. Probably another $30 additional to get the extra warranty.

I did asking because I got the membership. They said membership can just collect point.

Honestly, after playing with the XMRMN3 for the past 3 days, here are my impressions:

at first, it was fresh. full metal jacket. impressive looking. But guys let not forget about the 1.8GHZ max speed the processor can clock.

compared to the mi note, i think it lose out terribly.

The saving grace is the OS. now its swifter, faster and capable of anti-lag.

pardon me if im wrong as Im not a tech expert here. just your common joe who bought and try. the specs actually still lose to the flagship mi series.

I have already updated to the latest version.

Fixed the 5ghz wifi channel in Asus router instead of using automatically channel. I had changed it to channel 48 and I can connect it successfully.
