I bought my Redmi N3 in early January and it has come to my attention that during the research i was doing last month, i found that my phone's ROM is not entire genuine/original. It has this developer ROM but the phone is still a genuine Xiao Mi product.

Anyone has experience how to remove this developer ROM and restore default ROM?

On every few days here and then i have to delete some stupid Chinese app with sexy girls thumbnail and some irrelevant Chinese app that keep install by itself although i have enable the option that app need to have my permission before installation. They seem to bypass that, eating some data to install themselve, and now it has gotten worse as adverstisment starts to pop up when i am doing things and i need to keep press to close the advert. Very pek cek about it already... thought i could just live with it :(

make sure your phone is snapdragon chipset, not the MTK chipset.

Lol bro. How urgently would you have needed a phone to jeopardize your whole set getting from such a website.
How do you even know it's authentic set in the First place?

Hardware is easy to verify. Just flash to Global rom download from Xiaomi website will do.

Xiaomi.sg is slow and expensive now a day.

I think 7.3.7.0 has certain degrees of memory management problem coz my phone has rebooted twice out of the blue since upgraded to 7.3.7.0.

It never happened on all previous versions of roms.

To be fair, it could due to recent apps (rough apps) that I installed.

However, small matter lah as RN3 reboots and comes back on very fast. :)

My phone didn't reboot for no reason but the battery life seems to be quite bad now.

From their reviews it looks pretty reliable and doesnt look like fake reviews. I did my research properly. I just didnt know there is such thing as ' Non-Xiao Mi ROM' . Arghhh
