I felt it. And it is good.

Ya, apparently they can do a software update to support 4g + 3g.

I wonder if others can do that as well...

Redmi Note 3 folks who flash rom. :)

Just sharing this life-saving edl.cmd for your half-bricked or bricked or rom flashing error or failed or stuck in Fastboot mode.

It saved me in few occasions that my RN3 was kind of half-bricked or bricked or "With 2% Battery left" or stuck in Fastboot mode or whatever you wanna call it coz I also wasn't sure the state of the device I was in.... or flashing error in Fastboot mode.

Entering EDL mode from fastboot mode!
Nice tip. However if you unlucky will kena "full-brick" like what I did to my brother 1 day old phone few days ago as I haven't receive permission to unlock bootloader yet.

Have to open up and do some reset via the battery and cables.

Bro's phone on the left.

Not easy to open as I don't have the right tools not hard finger nails. But managed to after some twisting and prying.

Lucky managed to go into fastboot after some "tricks".

SMS from Xiaomi coincidentally came on the same day and proceeded to unlock bootloader after that and flash the rom.

it's a 200+ phone. To me it's low risk. If really bricked. Then get a new one.

Of course I won't do that if it's an iPhone 6 :D

I got quite a few Android phones lying around. All export sets without warranty and bought at low prices.

Just to play around with different Roms/kernels etc.
