battery life on stable miui8 is superb, best so far. performance is also a bit faster.

zhun! battery life is insanely good, even better than the legendary 7.3.6 firmware.

Seems that miui beta still has ongoing firmware weekly updates. Still on the beta here since the official version is still lollipop. Might update when the stable build migrates to marshmallow

anyone encountered the screen not responding at times? it happened to me 2-3 times. power button and FP reader still working though, and a restart will rectify the problem.

is there anyway to root the Note 3 with MIUI 8?

I was thinking of getting rid of the Mi apps, like their cloud, messenger, etc.

I am on 7.3 encountered a few times. Btw my set is 3weeks old from m1.

My note 3 on MIUI 8 is rooted. You can follow the instructions here:

Take note that this will only apply if your bootloader is officially unlocked.

There are other methods to root it, but this is the method which I use.
