Hi guys noob question here, I'm thinking of buying this phone. Whats the difference between buying from Tmall and Lazada? I was thinking Lazada would be much faster.

Also I read there are different versions of the phone so what exactly are the differences? If I buy now should be the older one right?

Lazada is by parallel exporter sellers, which means they get the stock from China and sell it in Singapore through their own means.
Tmall have two scenarios, they have an official Xiaomi flagship store and there's resellers there too.

For the variants of RMN3, there's the 双网通 variant, which has the Helio X10 chipset and there's also the 全网通 variant, which has the Snapdragon 650 chipset. Differences are available on first post of this thread.
There's two different memory choices, one is the 标准版 and another is the 高配版. 标准版 has a 2GB RAM+16GB flash memory, while 高配版 has a 3GB RAM+32GB flash memory. Do take note that the Snapdragon RMN3 also has a SD card slot too, which the Helio X10 RMN3 doesn't have.

likely have to wait till after CNY to collect it even if one could have made the purchase.

Not so sure about this but my order from taobao with 4px said yesterday was the last day of delivery until after CNY.

Anyone also have the same information ?

Hey guys

Understand that some forumers are actually posting sales related posts with kind intentions of helping the community out as accessories for the Redmi Note 3 is hard or next to impossible to get locally.

By right,
Sale / advertisment posts and threads are not allowed on this forum in accordance to forum rules with the exception of bazaar threads, so I would like to hear your views on this.

I think should just stick with forum rules. Redmi note 3 accessories such as casing and screen protector can be easily found on qoo10.
