Guys. Trying to catch up on the terms used.

Can I check exactly how many variants Are there?

First we have snap dragon and non snapdragon (someone advised me yesterday that 电信 version has snapdragon and is more superior).

I also read about the older ones second sim slot cannot be used as a SD card reader.

And I also read there are 2gb and 3gb ram version.

And today I see another acronym of SD650.

I also read hard to get from taobao. But from how I search stock are everywhere. Hmmm...

Very confused and worried I may be getting the wrong thing from taobao.

The 1st version of redmi note 3 uses mediatek x10 processor which don't have microsd support. Then xiaomi release the snapdragon 650(sd650) version which can support microsd on the 2nd Sim card. So u can put 2 sims or 1 sim n 1 microsd. Stocks are plenty i believe are for the x10 version. Correct me guys if I'm wrong here.

Correcto! In China, Note 3 without 電信 4G is Helio X10, the one with 電信 4G(or also known as 全網通) is Snapdragon 650

No, x10 version also 全網通 for Note 3. Only Note 2 has 2 version I think. Snapdragon is out due to many issue with x10 especially WiFi area. Miui forum has explanation on the X10 WiFi issue.

红米note 3 全网通 supports CDMA bands, which would mean it support 移动4G, 联通4G and 电信4G.
电信 uses CDMA for its 3G network, and the Helio X10 doesn't support CDMA.

Go google for more details, it's all around the web..
