Finally rooted my phone with the latest firmware with bootloader unlocked in unofficial way.

Steps to do it pls

Just requested to unlock the BL few days ago.Sian leh have to wait abt 2 weeks.so far been rooting HTC,Samsung,oppo and Sony no hard brick yet.touch wood

now there will be the Silver 2G+16G RMN3 variant!

Seems like they are clearing stock of the 2G+16GB and SG is the dumping ground.

Anyway, may consider getting it if the price is good.

nobody have problem with finger print sensor after update 7.2.3.0? Did a reset also dun solve... sian.. I enable "skip swipe screen" then solve but not fully solve... but it auto enabled "prevent pocket dial" and when yr phone rings in yr pocket u pick up need to press volume and back button then can answer call.... Dun know why Miui why become so stupid.... u got more features u got more function need to test.

That's the problem with MIUI. Comparing with other oem software over android, MIUI is more problematic.

I don't face such problems on mine. So far so good with the same firmware. Very happy user so far!

No problem with finger sensor too. But mi remote cannot detect any of my tv. Use 3rd party app OK. Anyone manage to get the mi remote app working?

i dont see any problem with that. dbs or uob apps dont need root access anyway. my rooted S4 has maybank n posb apps

for me no problem... my 6 year old LG plasma ok... 11 year old mitshubishi aircon ok...
