Cannot say copy lah, Samsung started selling their curve display recently to other phone companies too, that's why Blackberry Priv, Vivo Xplay 5 Elite started to feature curved display.
Agreed. I still prefer flat display likes on our Redmi Note 3.

Go to Redmi Note 3 for performance and battery life. Go to Mi Note for slightly bigger screen, Camera with OIS, much better front camera and Hifi audio/bottom speaker. The first is metal back and the latter is glass back, up to personal preference.

anyone has issue with google account, e.g google calendar not sync-ing, after the update? Tried to add again but keep getting error sync-ing.
Palm nope.. Fingers on rare occasion might touch edges of screen. That only 5.5 inch phone u can stretch yr fingers anywhere u want.. Imagine yr note 3 cut away the top portion above screen and both edges of screen.. The phone is that small.. If not the phone is laggy I would not change.. Sometime I thinking if sharp come out another same model with sd 650 or 652 I will buy for sure. Japan having some amazing technology.. This sharp phone as can see no top speaker.. Sound emitted from screen. And got grip sensor on both sides of phone.. U hold the phone the screen lights up. Even with case on.
