Welcome bro!

All that are configurable in RN3.

For apps, check your apps notification and widget settings for possible preview.

For data usage, you can configure it in the Data Usage page

im using the gmail app. enable all notification alr leh. might be miui preventing me from previewing.

where is the data usage page? i cant find it anywhere

Must go to the RN3 Notification App of all apps to check your Gmail.

Security app. Inside got data usage setup as well as permission setting of all apps.

Basically, if you have notification non show issues, the 2 area that you need to check are Notification and Security apps of RN3. :)

Inside the Notification App, you must check and select types of notifications for individual app accordingly. Most of the popular apps' notification are shown as per intended by default.

Inside the Security app, you must check both Permission and Autostart of apps that don't show up notifications as they should be.

was tempted to buy XMN3 but due to the fact that it has bad RAM optimization on the redmi 2, i am scared of buying. I also heard that the screen cracks easily. The camera quality is also not that awesome.

With so many positive comments and review, really tempting to try it as the price is good, battey life is good and it has a fingerprint sensor.

I know i could not compare this to a samsung phone but just hope to check with you guys if this is a better one or maybe samsung j5 or j1 is better?

hmm specs wise the rmn3 is miles better

Hey guys, when there 2 SIM cards, the SIM in second slot will only connect to 2g network, is that a hardware or software limitation?
I am using dual SIM, and will be affected by the 2G network shutdown comes April 2017.

Just buy now. It is not that expensive and it is a damn good phone.

Next April then change another phone after 2G is ceased

yeah i think it sort of did. thanks!

np...i was also wondering abt that

You can also do it that way:

Don’t you just hate it when a notification number appears by one of your apps and you have no way of finding out what it stands for unless you enter the app itself? There’s a shortcut to seeing what that number represents.

To activate: Double tap the app with the number notification. And you should be able to get a preview of exactly what it’s all about without having to go into the app. If you want to take further action, you can just tap on the notification to be taken directly into the app.

Using Redmi note 3 now, coming from a redmi note 3G (used that first gen redmi note for about 2 years already).

Got to agree is a pretty great phone worthy of the price.

Hoping that the 2G limitation when using dual SIM is just a software limitation and can be fix, wouldnt it be great?!

Mi max is huge. General users will love the sweet spot of the redmi note 3. The mi max felt too huge in my hands.

Didnt felt comfortable at all.

Oh Ya!

Don't forget that RN3 has FM Radio.

It saves you tons of data usage outdoor if you are a radio listener. :)

I'm one person that listen to radio outdoor during traveling to and from work. It saves me money not to over use too much of my data... :)

Those who haven't got one. Die die must get one now...

The reception on the FM Radio is pretty lousy though.. I end up using TuneInRadio which uses data for better clarity.
