What do you mean by another rom?

3rd party rom or Xiaomi official rom?

If it is official rom, be it alpha or beta, you can do it in EDL mode with bootloader locked and unlocked. It doesn't matter it is locked or unlocked. :)

My bootloader is still locked since day 1.

I think it's the theme u added on ur phone that is causing the drain but I'm not too sure

I'm on the default MIUI 7. I intend to flash to CM13. Need to unlock bootloader?

Damn jialat.. For no reason battery drain about 40% overnight. Now only left around 35% battery and sot is only 2hrs+

Yah, dunno why, really draining very badly.

This was how long my battery lasted :

After going to 7.3.7.0, battery life drops by almost 50%!

Just flashed back to 7.3.6.0, will monitor and see how is it.

But the strange thing is when I updated to 7.3.7.0 it didn't happen straight away. Only started last night since the ota which I updated from more than a week back. And the battery life was still quite ok lasting 8hrs sot with 1 day 20 hrs usage

how many apps can it store in the RAM ah? i just read up on ram management and realised the number of apps kept in background != size of ram.

I just bought Note 3 pro 32gb from FKT mobile in Chong Pang. 6 months warranty from supplier and shop.

boss give me discount off the accessories for posting here as it is a new shop. He or the supplier also flashed my hp to global rom for me. so i dun need to risk bricking my hp.


what i like: honest SG guy, local shop, mercury casing authorized reseller.

he tell me he dun carry rN3 but if i want he can order for me from his supplier at $230. i just buy accessories from him. after looking around, q0010 also selling at 240-250 for 1 mth warranty. so i buy for him since local and 6 months warranty.

oh yes, i trade in my LG g3 to him for $160 which is the highest i was offered.

wah u so hard core there... btw i facing finger print unlock issue i think because of the theme.. some existing theme for miui 7 will have problem in miui 8.:(

Yeah. Just use everything stock or stay as it is with MIUI8 beta rom for the time being.

Don't kepoh try and download this theme, that theme which are likely to be incompatible with MIUI8 yet and create funny problems which among them are battery drains and toeprints and assprint issues! ... Kekeke..
