thanks kelvin. i scared too big haha. using redmi 2 now.

should i be concerned?

4.7" up to 5.5".....However, the sleek build of Redmi Note 3 is good enough to offset that extra size!

Should be no issue at all! 5.5" is not that big! Just go and hold it first before you decide!

That's the best assurance for yourself coz at that price, you will love the beautiful design of this phone and you can really feel how much speedier and smoother the Redmi Note 3 is over the Redmi 2!

It's worth your hard earned pocket money! :s22:

I welcome you in advance! :)

** Oh ya! Get the 3/32 model! Don't ever get the 2/16 model!

Look at the description of the phone.

As long as it stated a Snapdragon SD650 chip, it is safe to buy. :)

China domestic market version carries a MediaTek chip. That, you don't buy.

Also, buy the 3/32 model, don't buy the 2/16 model.

Thanks for clarifying!

I think I have bricked my Note 3.
I flashed a custom recovery TWRP and now the phone is stucked at the boot screen.
I still can access TWRP and fastboot.
Any recommendations on what should I do next?

Thank you.

i would assume sim1 is the main sim card?

so for overseas sim card would nd to get nano?

Both sim1 and sim2 can be primary depending on the type of sim cards you have now.

However, you must remember that sim2 can only accommodate nano sim card.

I have never used TWRP since my HTC One X's day...:s13:

So, technically, I'm blur about it! Not sure what I can help but just direct you to these 2 guides to see if it helps since you still can access fastboot. =:p

Looks like Mi is moving more toward retail than selling through flash sale.

Hope they start to sell other products (eg accessories) through retail as well.

why would you want to buy the accessories through retail when the phone is already dirt cheap.

the price of the accessories will have to be marked up and it doesn't make any commercial sense for customers anymore, can easily just order through online sites like taobao/aliexpress for less than a fraction of the cost. :)

if you can on your phone then its not a brick, just use miflash to flash a stable official rom from miui website or enter edl mode via fastboot to flash.

if your bootloader is unlocked then u can flash any rom in xda via twrp since you've got twrp running.
