Diff processor, mediatek was octacore 1.7ghz, snapdragon is quadcore 1.6ghz. Was dual-sim, now single. New note supports wireless ac. Microsd card slot supports up to 64gb instead of 32gb.

Battery is the same... It is always 3100 mAh.
Min 3100 mAh/Typical 3200 mAh

Those that are using 3g dual sim version now, will you change?

3g
.dual sim
.mediatek octacore 1.7ghz
.wireless b/g/n
.support up to 32GB microsd

4g
.single sim
.snapdragon400 quad core 1.6ghz
.wireless b/g/n/ac dual band
.support up to 64GB microsd

The rest of the specs are the same

Reserve my opinions.
- Mediatek -> Snapdragon400 isnt exactly a upgrade, at least based on past redmi1 to redmi1s (runs hotter, higher battery consumption).
- 3g note is able to support 64gb microsd (just need formatting)

Being single sim already written off this model for my usage, so yeah, Redmi Note 2 next pls

I presume the camera is the same as Redmi Note? Tried both Redmi and Redmi Note previously. Preferred the photos from the Redmi. Redmi Note photos seemed more noisy

you mean the 4G version with snapdragon become sluggish?

btw, did you try with nova launcher? i normally use that instead of xiaomi's default launcher. i think nova is a little lighter in terms of resource usage
