The rumours ongoing the 'spyware' installed on the phone, stealing ppl's data etc... is it substantiated by any facts or just a malicious rumor?

Any IT security experts can help to comment?

Its easy, u just need to enable the inbuilt root privilege

Rename to update
then go into recovery and flash

After that u can update write privilege for 3rd party app to write to SD card, freedom to in app purchase etc

I've sold my redmi note 4g after 3 weeks of usage. Other than the superb battery life, nothing good about it. Camera quality is very bad for redmi note 4g. Bought a samsung note 4 from mobile square.
