Checked 4x specs on xiaomi china and no ac wifi. This is crap. 2016-17 phone without ac?!

MTK version has ac!

You will be supprised. MTK 's AC speed is just as bad.

can't find which wifi chip used in note 4 but there's a video on youtube which tore down the note 4, but i can't hear which chip used due to accent.

I'm on china rom and it's connected at 150mbps, anyone on global stable rom can check connecting speed?

150mbps means is N lor. but not really that high at most best 90~100mbps.

Yes that's why I'm asking someone on global rom to check. It's not really a deal breaker to me becos I'm still using 100mbps cable anyway but it's still good to know

anyway if its hardware limitations means that u cant do anything to software side(rom). but if it really software limitations, i believe a lot of those phone review would have alert the company that their software didn't include the driver for the hardware on the specs is wrongly keyed.

i'm on global rom 8.1.15.0 (stable). just did speedtest this morning on my home wifi 1Gbps. Maximum download speed was 128mbps.
