Lowyat.net have a guide to enable extra LTE bands for some Msia telco, think its for mi max or rn4. Warning: don't do it if not sure. Always have a proper working backup, especially qcn & device specific partition.

Partition backup by wanam is a good start, choose advanced backup 1st 100mb, plus save as both tar.gz & .IMG

You need these files if a flash gone bad

Wa, Suay. Let us know how it goes.
If u got it thru lazada, another option is to report thru them. Or worst case, return item and get refund.

Qoo10 have no buyer protection.

Haven't try claiming on shopee but I read that if u did not "confirm delivery", shopee holds the money. So maybe got chance.

Wah, I thought new stars will open box and check and flash global ROM?. Screen like that dare to send out? :vijayadmin:

Initially when i received the phone and boot up no issue. It is when charging up the batt and i decided to install some apps at the same time this issue came up. But Sat morning when i boot up the phone the screen back to normal again, it happened again at night,so i decided to go down to their store and do exchange today.

A customer in the shop told me those red lines also appeared on his LG G5 and after a month those red lines appeared, his G5 screen blacked out.I'm just relieved that they exchanged a new set no questions asked. First time encountered problem when buying mobile device.

In future i will test out any electronic devices that i buy online,at least a day, before i go "confirmed delivery",just in case buyer chut pattern when go for excahnge or refund.

yup, I tried all the different combination of vol up, down and power. I even tried the fastboot reboot-edl

I read somewhere saying edl has been locked for newer versions, 8.1.10.0 and above

anyway, I installed gapps via mi app store, should be enough

the battery life is really good. my MIL sure likes her new phone, can compete with aunties and uncles in Pokemon go

got a little confused with the Note 4x and Note 4.

So for the Note 4 purchased from Lazada Official Mi Store, the casing to buy should be 4x or 4?

For SG version, it is the 4X in China. So buy 4X accessories.
